INGREDIENT​​​

Apam Balik Base

250g       Kuda Biru Enriched Flour

1.3g        Salt

50g         Sugar

50g​         Egg

5g           Sodium Bicarbonate

10g         Baking Powder

2.5g        Eagle Instant Dry Yeast

300g       Water or Milk

50g         Oil or Melted Butter

Topping – Adjust to taste

Method
  1. Mix everything in the mixing bowl.
  2. Use low speed and once the flour is mixed, then turn to high speed for 15 – 20 minutes.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan over a medium heat. Lightly oil it if necessary.
  4. Pour a ladle of batter into the pan. Swirl it around gently to spread.
  5. Cook uncovered for about 2 – 3 minutes until bubbles form and the surface is set.
  6. Sprinkle the toppings evenly.
  7. Cover the pan with a lid and cook another 2 – 3 minutes until the bottom is golden and the top is cooked.
  8. Fold the pancake in half and remove from pan and serve warm.
