Salted Chocolate Chips Cookies

Ingredient

300g    Lurpak Unsalted Butter

125g    Castor Sugar

250g    Soft Brown Sugar

1nos    Whole Egg

1          Egg Yolk

40g      Vanilla Extract​

400g    All Purpose Flour

10g      Baking Soda​

5g        Cinnamon Powder (optional)

300g    Couverture Dark Chocolate Chips

250g    Macadamia Nuts (optional)

Salt Flakes (to sprinkle)​

Method
  1. Slightly melt Lurpak butter, pour in mixing bowl.

  2. Add castor sugar​, soft brown sugar​, whole egg​, egg yolk​, vanilla extractand mix well with paddle.

  3. In a separate bowl, sieve all purpose flour,​ baking soda​, cinnamon powder (optional) and combine together

  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix until well combined.

  5. Add in the chocolate chips and nuts, combine it well and let it chill for 1 hour.

  6. Scoop the dough on baking tray and sprinkle with salt flake.

  7. Bake at 170°C for 18 minutes.
