Dark Chocolate Chip Cookies

INGREDIENT

A

227g      Salted butter softened

200g      Granulated sugar

220g      Light brown sugar packed

B

2 tsp      Pure vanilla extract

2 nos     Large eggs

C

375g      All-purpose flour

3tbsp     Cocoa Powder

1 tsp      Baking soda

½ tsp     Baking powder

1 tsp      Salt

D

340g      Dark Chocolate Chips

Method
  1. Preheat oven to 190°C . Line three baking trays with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl mix ingredient C. Set it aside.
  3. Cream together ingredients A until combined.
  4. Beat in ingredients B until light (about 1 minute).
  5. Fold in the ingredients C until combined.
  6. Add chocolate chips and mix well.
  7. Roll 1 Tablespoons (depending on how large you like your cookies) of dough at a time into balls and place them evenly spaced on your prepared cookie sheets.
  8. Bake in preheated oven for approximately 6 – 8 minutes. Let them sit on the baking pan for 5 minutes before removing to cooling rack.
