Swiss Roll Pandan Cake
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ nos egg yolk
- ½ tbsp castor sugar
- 1 tbsp milk powder
- 1 tbsp FryMax % Pure Coconut Oil
- 1/5 tsp BWY Vanilla Essence
- 3 tbsp BWY Cake Flour
- 3 tbsp corn flour
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 ½ nos egg white
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of cream of tartar
- 2 tbsp castor sugar
- ¼ tsp Nona Manis Pandan Paste
Bahan:
- 1 ½ nos kuning telur
- 1/2 tbsp gula kastor
- 1 tbsp tepung susu
- 1 tbsp Minyak Kelapa FryMax 100% Pure
- 1/5 tsp Esen Vanila BWY
- 3 tbsp Tepung Kek BWY
- 3 tbsp tepung jagung
- 1 tbsp air
- 1 ½ nos putih telur
- Secubit garam
- Secubit krim tartar
- 2 tbsp gula kastor
- ¼ tsp Pes Pandan Nona Manis
Method:
- Combine egg yolk, castor sugar, milk powder, vegetable oil and mix until well combined.
- Add in vanilla essence, cake flour, corn flour and water and mixed well. Then, add in the pandan paste.
- In another bowl, combine egg white, salt, tartar cream and castor sugar gradually until an elastic batter is formed.
- Mix both until well incorporated.
- Pour the batter into a flat rectangular pan lined with baking paper.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C for 15-20 minutes or until it turns golden brown.
- Remove from oven and roll it while still hot to ease the shaping process.
- Once it cool, unroll it and spread the filling in the middle and roll it back.
Cara Membuat:
- Campurkan kuning telur, gula kastor, tepung susu, minyak sayuran dan gaul sehingga sebati.
- Masukkan esen vanila, tepung kek, tepung jagung dan air dan gaul sebati. Kemudian, masukkan pes pandan.
- Di dalam mangkuk lain, campurkan putih telur, garam, krim tartar dan gula kastor sedikit demi sedikit sehingga satu adunan elastic terbentuk.
- Campurkan kedua-dua adunan sehingga sebati.
- Tuangkan adunan ke dalam acuan segi empat rata yang telah dilapisi dengan kertas minyak.
- Bakar di dalam ketuhar yang telah dipanaskan pada suhu 150°C selama 15-20 minit atau sehingga berubah kewarna keperangan.
- Keluarkan dari ketuhar dan gulung ia sementara masih hangat untuk memudahkan proses membentuk.
- Setelah sejuk, buka gulungan dan sapu inti di tengah dan gulungkan semula.
